A fun trip, bookended with minor problems.
Thursday - April, 16 - Started out about 3p from Diana's Weld County office and headed to Cheyenne via US85. Light snow changed to heavier snow outside of Cheyenne and resulted in I-80 being closed just ahead of us. Sitting on the interstate we figured out a way around the closure and, once turned around, headed south on I-25 back into Colorado. Owl Canyon worked to cross west to US-287 and then north to Laramie and west on I-80. We arrived in Evanston, WY for the night about 1.5 hours behind schedule. Not bad considering the video we later saw of the terrible pile-up that happened 20 minutes ahead of us on the closed section of I-80 we circumnavigated.
