Gifting - truly the way the world could be . . .

It started like any other day. Noel was checking Craigslist for tickets to our annual trek to the Nevada dessert and using the keyword "burningman" an ad offered a most marvelous gift. It said for $1 they'd like to gift a 1978 23ft Nu-Wa Class C Motorhome to any burner that could use it now that they could not. It seemed to good to be true but we dash off an email expressing interest and we could pick it up right away.

By the next morning it was mostly forgotten until an email pops up from Rob that we could meet at 130p and pick the Motorhome up. What? Really? Is this for real? We have known the generosity of others, burners most specifically, before but seldom on this scale. We exchange a couple more emails and arrange to pickup this wonderful gift. Rob turns out to be a friendly gentleman with a wonderful idea to extend the Burning Man experiment beyond the playa. All he said, and more, was true and we now have a Motorhome with working generator, roof A/C, propane refrigerator and much more. It is very dusty and needs some care but the engine and drive train seems strong, so far. We'll trip test it this coming weekend and then . . . to infinity and beyond!

The Nu-Wa setting on our street for the first time.
